Sex Party. Free beer. Sound like fun? Well, thus is the nature of Ugly Broads: one of the newest bands in the budding Mt. Pleasant, MI music scene. Songs ranging from indie rock influences bringing to mind Pavement, The Pixies, etc. to rock and roll jams bringing back memories of old to some alt-country as well. This band does it all. Singer/songwriter Andrew Neal has been in several bands in Mt. Pleasant in the past and has played past Midwest Fests. Ugly Broads is his best project yet and drummer Keith Dast is easily one of the best drummers around. Check this band out.
This is Ugly Broads’ 1st appearance at Midwest Fest.
